Alice Dunkerley married William Hall on the :

They had the following children:

Albert Hall birth register 24th July 1876. Lion Street, Blackley.  Albert  Boy. William Hall father, trade Blacksmith. . Alice formerly Dunkerley mother. Alice gives her mark as X . Registered 17th Aug 1876.   Alice had Albert baptised at the non conformist church on Market Street Blackley. Register. of Child Albert Hall stated parents William & Alice obode Lion street, Blackley.

Elizaberth Ellen Hall was born on the 13th April 1879 in Blackley. She is firstly baptised on the 20th May 1879 at the United Methodist Free Church on Market Street Blackly event number 97. The given address is Lion Street and William and Alice are named as the parents.   On the 2nd June 1879 her birth is offically registed by Alice in the birth index as Elizabeth Ellen Hall to the parents of William Hall and his wife Alice Hall nee Dunkerley. Their given address again is  Lion Street, Blackley. William Hall is stated as a blacksmith, and the birth seems to have been registered by Alice again as she left her mark X being unable to write and possible unable to read too.

They seem to have only wo children. They gave their youngest child Elizaberth up for adoption and as previously mentione the Lee family gave her a home and riased her as their child.

Lion street still exists but no old houses fron this time are present. Its stated the name was taken from the Pub that was in the area called the Lion.

I would assume Elise Dunkerley is visiting her parents on the evening of the census or shes been added as that commute from Blackburn to Ashton u lyne isnt feasable.
