William married Alice Davies on the 27th March 1926 at St Stephens Church Hulme.
Alice was born on the 21^st June 1906, Hulme. William worked as a packer in a warehouse, a case maker
at the time of his marriage but later on worked for the Gas board until his retirement.
All the children were born in Hulme area.
His brothers are the witnesses.

William & Alice move home to a larger house on Barnhill Street, Moss side.
This row of houses in which I lived too in my early life would be demolished in the 1970's and Bill & Alice
moved out to Northenden, Rackhouse road.  William died in Dec1975 and Alice died in October 1997.
